Mt-Veeder-Vineyard

Situated in the Mount Veeder sub-appellation within the Mayacamas Mountains, the Longtable Vineyard is planted on a rocky hillside that showcases a variety of aspects and elevations between 900 & 1,100 feet. The vineyard is located above the fog line allowing for warmer nights but cooler valley floor days due to bay breezes drifting up from Napa/Carneros. The wines produced from Longtable tend to be powerful, yet elegant, and always impress with their deep tones and floral notes. Bell Wine Cellars works with grape grower Jeff Strauss to produce a single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Longtable. Jeff Strauss has great appreciation for nature and vines as he devoted part of his early education to plant science. He oversees every aspect of wine growing from pruning to harvesting, and enjoys making his own brand.

“Mt. Veeder is like a window that looks into the Napa Valley of 40 years ago: A wild, undeveloped frontier yielding wines with dark fruit, floral notes, and powerful intensity.”
