Comparative Clonal Tasting: Cabernet Sauvignon

Our prior comparative clonal tastings have featured Pinot Noirs like Pomard, Dijon, Hanzell and others.  Last year, we featured single clone Cabernet Sauvignons, all from Napa Valley.  It was so popular, we’re bringing it back again this year!  Get ready to learn about and taste seven different cabernet sauvignon clones to understand their characteristics, optimal growing conditions, and their application in modern winemaking.  We’ll also taste what happens when they’re blended together!

Whether you missed last year’s tasting or would like a chance to refresh your memory and learn more, you can explore the nuances of different cabernet clones with Master Sommelier David Glancy and special guests from Bell Wine Cellars John Hazak, Director of Winemaking and Hillary Cole, Director of Sales.  Bell Wine Cellars is Napa Valley’s leading researcher and producer of Single Clone Cabernet Sauvignon.

2024 SUMMER BBQ & BOCCE BALL TOURNAMENT

We are thrilled to invite you to our first annual Summer BBQ and Bocce Ball Tournament! Join us on August 24th from 3:00 to 8:00 pm for an unforgettable afternoon of delicious BBQ, expertly paired wines, and friendly competition. This event is the perfect opportunity to mingle with fellow club members, enjoy the beautiful summer weather, and test your bocce ball skills. The Championship-winning team will win a 3L bottle of wine, and 2nd place team wins a magnum!

Wine Club Pick-Up Parties

These parties will always be the last Saturday of the month that we release club allocations (February, May, and October).

Join us at the winery for a delicious baguette-sandwich lunch artfully prepared with fresh, local ingredients. Lunch also includes a fresh salad, fruit, and dessert.

Mingle and enjoy a preview of your club wines as well as some extra pours!

We provide the wines,  tasting materials, and an expert tasting guide to take your guests on the same quality journey they would get in person at our Yountville winery. Your guests will also be able to order the wines they tasted that evening, enjoying a 15% discount. Wines ship directly from us to their addresses and guests who sign up for the wine club will receive free shipping on their orders.
