Vintage Notes
The beginning of the 2019 growing season was defined by copious rainfall and saturated soil well into spring. The long, warm summer saw very few extreme heat events, with foggy mornings setting the stage for vibrant and expressive wines. The long, relatively mild finish to the season, not without its moments of unpredictability, helped to preserve freshness and finesse in the fruit with abundant hang time teasing out great color, structure and soft tannins. Volume was overall about average to a little less than average. All in all, exceptional fruit with bright acidity and ample texture created an amazing vintage.

Tasting Notes
The 2019 Rose was made in a style to display bright aromas in a delicate frame. It shows a gorgeous light pink hue, reminiscent of pale pink roses. Aromas of hibiscus flower and light papaya notes frame the red fruit aromas that are expressed much like white chocolate-covered cherries. An attractive floral impression adds to the layers in the bouquet. The creamy palate is carried by delicate sour cherry flavors and a broad mouthfeel. This mouthfilling texture culminates in a gentle finish, velvety and viscous. This is a lively wine made for enjoying with friends and family.
